Release Date Rewind : Wrong Turn (20th anniversary)

SHOW NOTES

Are you ready for an Appalachian good time? Mark welcomes final girl Kit Sheehan back on the show in her best Eliza Dushku cosplay to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original Wrong Turn! This fun and sweaty horror movie about cannablistic inbred mountain men in West Virginia was released in US theaters on May 30, 2003 and Mark and Kit totally snuck into the theater to see it back then. They discuss the acting, the deaths, the sequels, and the fact that the award-winning Stan Winston produced this! This turn is oh so right.

Release Date Rewind
Movie nerd, filmmaker, and anniversary celebrator Mark J. Parker brings a friend on each episode to discuss movies (and sometimes TV shows and music) that are hitting milestone anniversaries of release that month. Think 20th anniversary, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 75th, you get it! They'll dive in together, discussing fun facts, memorable moments, and what makes these movies worth a rewind all these years later. Let's get nostalgic! The podcast logo is created by Greg Clements. The theme song is the instrumental version of "Dance This Out" by singer/songwriter Kyle Motsinger and producer Smoke and Mirrors.
