About this episode

On the 50 year anniversary of Title 9, an outstanding group of female athletes are finally being recognized. The University of Massachusetts fielded the first ever NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship team.  This year, they are being inducted into the UMass Hall of Fame. While the celebration is long overdue, what has really surfaced is the camaraderie and confidence these women possessed and passed on to future athletes.
The women from that team went on to be business leaders, scientist, engineers and some continued to spread the love of sports.
In this episode, 2 teammates talk about what it means to be honored and recognized as a trailblazer for female athletes.
