A powerhouse operator and brand builder, Richie has been behind some of the city’s most iconic venues and experiences for nearly two decades.
A former partner at the legendary Butter Group, he helped shape the cultural footprint of 1OAK and Up&Down, two staples of NYC nightlife that defined an era. He later went on to create and develop standout brands like Sushi by Bou, Sushi by Bae, and the immersive Times Square mega-club Nebula.
Nebula, which opened in late 2021, has already welcomed global acts like ZEDD, Steve Aoki, Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, MK, ZHU, and more—quickly cementing itself as one of the world’s most exciting nightlife destinations.
Richie was brought in during the height of the pandemic by founding partner Yang Gao to help navigate unprecedented challenges and bring the vision of Nebula to life.
Beyond nightlife, Richie continues to innovate across hospitality, experiential events, and trend-setting culinary concepts.
