Combine 1 oz Gin, 1/2 oz Lemon juice, and 2 Dashes Simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into champagne flute, fill with 2 oz Champagne, garnish with a thin lemon slice or lemon peel.
