About this episode
Voice actor Robbie Daymond joins Tawny Platis to make friendship bracelets while talking about building a lasting creative career, taking big risks, staying adaptable in a changing industry, and finding joy both on stage and at home.
From growing up in rural Missouri to becoming one of the most recognizable voices in anime and video games, Robbie shares the winding path that led him to voice acting, why he believes success comes from embracing uncertainty, and how following his instincts opened doors he never expected. Along the way, he reflects on fatherhood, entrepreneurship, AI, social media, and why genuine human creativity will always matter.
As they laugh through pizza and hot dog-themed bracelets, Tawny and Robbie dive into what it takes to keep evolving without losing sight of what made you love creating in the first place.
