About this episode
After defense attorney Ned Murray secures the acquittal of Lew Rydell, accused of murdering a grocery delivery boy, Rydell admits to Ned that he strangled the boy and would gladly do it again. Torn between his duty to the law and allowing a dangerous man to walk free, Ned seeks guidance from the trial judge, who urges compassion for Rydell’s apparent mental illness. Meanwhile, Ned’s client, Tony Eigo, himself a former hitman, offers a far more pragmatic solution.
