Danell Leyva has become accustomed to being judged by people. He’s a professional gymnast who has waited in front of large crowds waiting for the numbers to be called assessing his performance. He has literally dealt with judges his entire life. But facing the judgement of coming out is a different story.He stood in the spotlight of being an out professional athlete and confronted the stereotypes people fit you into for being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. But Danell overcame all of that on his journey to a new beginning.
